if you have a buddy present, have him compress it by hand while you undo the nut. I've done this alone a few times, but it's a lil awkward with only two hands. the progressive part of the eibach spring makes it fairly easy to compress by hand as you push down on the upper mount.

Is the suspension still in the car? If it is, with the car on the ground and weight on the springs: undo the top nut from the shock and raise the car off the ground. You can then undo the lower pinch bolt for the front shocks(14mm), the through bolts for the rear shocks(17mm) and the 2 (14mm) nuts fopr each upper spring perch(top hat).

Or you could just go to Canadian Tire and rent a spring compressor for free.

some CT stores dont loan them out anymore due to the obvious risks involved with compressing an automotive spring
