Lightbulb Specific exhaust question

Hi:

Searched TCC, and there were so many variables, I thought I'd post for my specific needs. All suggestions greatly appreciated. 93 coupe si.

Complete exhaust neophyte. I know what and axle back and a cat back are, but that's about it!

For reference, I love the sound of the DC Sports catback. Deep tone, no buzz!

Probably looking second hand -- axle back only, I'm afraid.

Newbie mode on: Is the muffler part of the axle back, or can I just go muffler?

Anyway, ideas?

Any for sale?

Easy install?

Again, thanks

axle back specific for your year civic coupe 93-95 will be direct bolt on.....getting a uni muffler will have to be welded on!

u can always get a axle back now, and later on buy a mid pipe!

or if u r just looking for some sound, just get the muffler welded on, forget about any horsies!

Check out hte price of the Axle back and the Universal Canister and then add in the labour for the Universal Canister before making a decision I noticed a lot of times it will come very very close and if that is the case i'd just get the Axle back and toss her on.

Personally I prefer to stay away from used exhaust equipment....

Unless extremely rare....

Save your bread and get EXACTLY what you want...

Trade in some of the old audio equipment Anthony...

The DC systems are pretty nice and decently priced.

u'll be spending approx 50-100 dollars just for welding on the muffler!

universal muffler --> 200
install --> 50-100!

and for 300-350 u get a axle back exhaust for you car, clean and direct bolt on...install will be done free at any muffler shop!

or you could jack/hoist up your car and do it yourself if ya want!

I know guys who go out and change their exhausts every few months, alot of guys are like that...

Anthony I think you're looking for an exhaust that will add a nice mild note and enhance the performance of your car...

But my gut tells me that this is the next thing on your list, (Since, the tail install )

There's a lot things we can do...

Gimme a shout and we'll think of a plan.

I heard a Magnaflow and Ractive last night.

It's all in personal preference, Magnaflow, i find it's very throathy or froggy in the higher rpm range!!!

Their is a new exhaust i got from a local shop (mississauga) called "Thunderbolt", the HKS style. I like that sound, nice and deep, and not throathy at all, a little on the noisey side in the cabin.
You can also think about the new ractive muffler's, they do not sound bad at all and is not so loud in the cabin!

It's very difficult deciding on which exhaust to get.....but i know i wont be getting Magnaflow for a Civic!
