sound from front right when braking and turning

OK I will do my best to describe the prob/sounds I am hearing.

First the specs:
90 Civic hatch
recently had a ZC swap done.
Front rotors and pads were changed at the time of the swap too.
Steel braided brake lines were also installed.

Description of the prob.
During the warmer weather last weekend I was hearing a slight clunk when I would turn right at low speeds and braking while making the turn.
It sometimes occured while turning left too, but not as much.
Sound came from what sounded like the front wheel well.

Weird I know, but any thoughts would be appreciated. Only thing I can think of was CV boot/joint.

Thanks
David

I had the same problem but in the colder weather. Honda replaced my ball joints, and that really didn't help, then I had my brakes serviced and voila no more noise!

eb is correct... it could be either of those...I would bet ball joints on your car though. My beater does that, but I won't fix it till it gets warmer out.

it sounds like a bad driveshaft or the ball joint

options..

brakes, ball joints, CV joint or the infamous shifting of the spring (if it wasn't lined up with the stop right)

Early analysis is the problem is the ball berrings. That is being replaced now....but if it still makes the noise the ball joints will be replaced also......in either case the right front ball berring is shot.

Any grinding noise associated with turning left??? It should sound like a coffee grinder if the bearing is shot

Got my car back and only the right wheel berring was needing to be replaced. Simple solution.
