Something is wrong.....

Ok, this is what is happening to my car:

When I turn it on, it will start and then it will idle at 800 then 700 then 600 then STALL. But if I keep rev'ing it at about 1300 for about a minute, it wont stall out.

Another problem is.....

Once the car is on for a while, it will start rev'ing higher then lower, higher then lower, higher the lower, you can actually hear the engine doing it from outside....

Fast-Idle Valve?

Throttle Body need to be cleaned ?

Let me know....

Does the car idle up and down, up and down, etc? Try adjusting your idle screw, play with it till its gone. Thats what my brother did and never came back.

I suspect that you killed the battery with your little escapade of powering your amp off the battery alone...

As a result, since the car formerly known as HappyB16 uses a VAFC you dead battery might have reset the configurations... just a theory, so your car is running rich right now...

ALSO

I also supsect that you turn on your car and let it idle in the drive way for a few minutes then shut it off.

Thats not too good either.

i have the same problem
my car is a d16z6, from a 92 civic si

the car sometimes will start and stop immediately

i thought it was cause i was using pos champion plugs
im replacing them shortly

also, ive heard it can be something to do with distrubutor connections

or vacuum leak between intake manifold & tb
