some qusetions about headers

1.i have an 04 ex and i want to get a 4-2-1 header between APEXI and GREDDY. so which one is better?

2.also i wanna get a catback later on, do i have to choose the same brand of header?

3.dose DC RACE HEADER only for manual EX? if i get the DC race header which has no cat, i have to get a DC exhaust ??

or anyone have other suggestions, please tell me, thank you.

don't get the race header. it's a race header for a reason. both will give gains but you won't be able to notice the difference between the two because it's on a d17 and the gains are minimal. i'm not sure if megan makes one for the d17s but try looking for those and a full cat back. don't waste too much money getting a header for that motor. megan are pretty good for the price and if you're not too serious about tracking or anything like that.

i hate upgraded exhaust systems on automatic cars, they sound gay even if they are relatively quiet

haha... 5spd with exhaust will allow you to hear when the driver shifts hahahahaha

btw, megan racing headers are pretty decent for the $$$ you're paying... talk to teknotik... they carry them... and they are our affiliates too...

another brand to try are vibrant 4-2-1 if they have one for your engine...

Why buy that dc garbage to lose power over stock. In my opinion, if your not going to go high end for a header, dont buy one at all. All these ricer companies are making **** headers that dont gain at all. Absolutly rediculous, it makes guys like us who actually take time to r&d our headers and manifolds look like we are charging an arm and a leg when in reality we are the ones who see the gains.

Heres a suggestion.... take that motor out, throw it in the garbage and swap in a b..
