sohc zc specs

hey guys whats the specs on a sohc zc?....iv been lookin all over the net and one site says this and another that, i know alot of u guy in her know alot about these engines, anyways what im wondering is whats the hp numbers, torque, redline and compression,?.....i dun wanna hear oh these motors r **** and cra just need some numbers, thx guyz

Get a DOHC ZC and use this..

its makes 119 hp at the flywheel... your honestly better off getting the dohc zc though

correction, it makes 120.

same bore/stroke as d16a6, but different cam, and pistons

sohc zc is good, because there is less rotational mass on top...spinning two cams takes power...

yeah im jsut askin this cuzz its what came in ym car and i didnt really know the specs on the motor itself

to all the ppl tellijn me to swap, y would i spend 1 grand to swap out a motor and oput a ne wone in to gain 10hp>?.....i mean common now, also whats the redline on this motor?.....also im pretty suire my cars chipper what the fuel cut off for this car?......89 civic si hatch with a sohc zc.....cuzz it can redline right down into 8000rpm's if i wanted

i got a 90 hatch with sohc ZC motor IMO its pretty quick later on ill add maybe a si tranny now i got a dx but i dont see much diffrence mine is pretty good still

mines not to bad but i woulnt all it fast, iv blew the doors off a few b18'd 5th gen hatchs.....iv got a lil **** done to my motor, ecu chipped,aem c.a.i., ractive 4-2-1 header, catco high flow cat and 2.25' piping, msd ignition and b&m fuel regulator

I believe the revlimit is 7200RPM like the d16a6.

I think the reason ppl told ya to swap in the dohc is because most though you had the reg. d16a6 and not the sohc zc. I agree if you have the sohc zc, its not worth swapping out.

so what all could b done to this sohc zc to make it a lil quicker?...iv hear diof guys with these motors keeping up with.blowing away b16's is tht tru?
