sohc zc help

ok i broke my timing belt awhile ago and decided to change over to a zc cuz my engine was messed. ok so i go to best japanese auto parts on chesswood (off of finch) and ask the guy if he has a sohc zc and he says ya in the warehouse so i ask him how much. he says 400 so i ask him about the warrenty, compression test etc. so i ask him when he can have it and he says today. so i ask when can you deliver it and he says today. so i'm like ok lets do it. i put a deposite on the engine and he tells me it should be at my house around 330. 430 comes so i give him a call and he says its on its way. i wait till about 530 and call him back and he tells me that they only have a carburated model. so he says you can just swap your si intake manifold and it will be ok. i'm sorta unsure about it and tell him i'll call him back. i know its probably possible but i dont wanna spend more money and time to do it if i dont have to or its not gona work. so i called another jdm engine place and they tell me i can get a zc for 500 without a distributor and i ask will my d16a6 one fit on the zc and he says yes. please tell me if these guys are tellling me lies
or where i should by my engine from

You should have no problems with doing eather one. they will both fit (Intake or Dizzy) I have done both. to do the intake swap you should get a new gasket and for the dizzy swap make sure you have a timing light. hope this helps.
