theres lots of built d series pushing big power on boost.... thats what bridges the gap... i'm personally building a d16 all motor engine cause its cheap to do and for hte money gives good results... maybe next year i'll have money to go big though

I'm soo Tired...

From what I've been reading, unless you're really tuning the engines and putting lotsa $$$ into it, it seems to me the best bet is to get a SOHC, and spend all that extra saved $$ on a good suspension (or anything else).

Although you're not "supposed" to race on streets, whenever I get edged on by someone I almost always lose them around corners... Unless you're on a track, quick pick up and not top end speed would help u out more. Nobody does 170+ on streets, and if they do I have no sympathy if they hit a pole, better that then me.
I'm not an expert on enignes I don't know a lot of the technical aspects of them... that's why I'm here.. but theres' my .02
