What can actually be done to an SOHC for more power? And how much HP can you get it up to?

But with the money to do that its just better to invest in a DOHC right?

So if i were to stick with my SOHC, what would be the most economical ways or 'musts' without spending a whack when you could just get a DOHC in adding some poweR? or its just a lost cause?

look up honda d series on yahoo..

people have the d series motor, runnin high 13 and low 14s.... on turbo....mostly stock internals...probably just a block guard at most...

thats my route....
why bother swapping etc...not everyone wants to run 11 sec quartermile.... i'm happy to be beating mustangs and stuff.... although the turbo will cost you the same amount as a good swap...you'll have more power and the most important part torque!!!

you can go the custom turbo route
or buy a kit...
i suggest waiting for the edelbrock one....that's what i'm doing....

aight..hope that helped..
