Skunk2 Manifold

i'd get a header first, but ya an intake manifold will help a little. If you ask me the stock gsr manifold is a decent peice. There are lots of people putting out big numbers with the stock intake manifold, even with the secondary butterfly's in tact.

well i would get into some headwork and some more aggressive cams before thinking about changing the IM. Like i said before the stock b18c1 intake manifold is of a decent design and puts out respectable numbers on built engines.

huh...i didn't even know that AEBS made a IM for the p72 head.
I think that its stupid how the Skunk2 IM for the p72 is just an ITR IM with p72 bolt pattern. I mean the opening for the gsr intake manifold ports are almost 1 full centimeter (its about 8mm) taller than the b16/itr.
Not to mention that the AEBS manifold is a fraction of the price of the Skunk2. I got my polished AEBS intake manifold for $175 brand new.

The AEBS intake manifold i am using is great and can't be beat for the price. It has a 65mm opening for a larger t/b and all of the vacuum nipples on the back for a clean appearance.
