see accord is spelt A C C O R D
and civic is spelt C I V I C
so if the part is listed as being for the accord then it is wize not to try and get it to work on a civic
with that said just to cover my *** so that I don't get flamed.... people will say integra parts are interchangeable with civic parts.... my response to that as well:
if you start swapping around coilovers between the civic and integra which have the same part numbers from the manufacturer then it's all cool ... a part might be listed as designed to fit 88-00 civic and 94-01 integra for example.... which means it's interchangeable..... now if a coilover for a civic and integra have different part numbers and each part does not list compatibility with the model you want to throw it on.... I'd heed Gatherer's warning and not do it! this is because of something called spring rates ..... which not many will clue in when I say that but ohhh well... I'm gruppy I'm going to bed
