I was just reading some topics at clubsi.com and I noticed some people are complaining about tranny issues on their SIr's.

Do these cars have tranny problems or what?

I've had my SiR for about 3 years now, and I've never had a problem with the tranny...

Honda has a bulletin indicating the known problem with the syncro's. I've never had a problem YET!!!

b series trannys are capable of handling higher rpm shifts than d's

but in either case stick with the ys1 with a bseries swap.

I've never had any problems with my tranny. There is a bulletin? Really? I'll look into it but I haven't heard of one. From what I know, the tranny problems are all due to abuse. I've owned my car from practically new. My tranny is fine.

probobly jsut becaue there are young douche bags driving around tryign to make their 15 sec car faster by slamming the gears as hard as they can....I have saw some stupid **** in my day...it is ungay to actually shift normally you know to all the douches out there, take care of your car and dont' abuse it
