Hi just wondering. What is the SIR piping diameter?

Also, I a 96 ek hatch with full SIR piping and was thinking about buying an axel-back exhaust system and was wondering if I can use a system for a 2000 Civic SIR coupe. I'm not sure if it will be sticking out past my rear bumper or not. Can someone help.

Because online I haven't really seen anything specific for hatch backs.

Second if I get an axelback for a 96 civic would the piping diameter be smaller than that of a civic sir?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Coupe and Hatch axelbacks are different. The Coupe's have a much longer tailpipe. You'll have to look for a Hatch one. Diameter will depend on brand, but most will probaly be bigger then stock. Try a search on here. SIR exhausts have been discussed before.
