SiR Exhaust on a 98 EK?
Does the SiR exhaust simply bolt on without any modifications to a 98 Civic Si? Will it line up properly and look ok?

i believe you will have to slightly shorten it because everything is the same just the sir is a little longer with the trunk. probably haave to chop a few inches off before the muffler.

I am 95% sure its the same length!

A 99-00 SiR catback section (midpipe and muffler) will bolt on without any mods. I had one on my 98 Si and it fit perfectly. It sounded a little throatier, but not really loud at all.
An Integra Type-R catback needs to be modified to fit though. |
I have one on my car. (00 si) Its the same length as stock.

Dont mean to thread jack, but since were on topic. I need a SIR muffler. PM me.

they follow the same line and bend the same way from the header back.... the only thing that wont work is the header obviously because its a b series.
Everything else is bolt up no mods.... maybe bend a hanger or something! |
The muffler will fit fine. As mentioned above, they follw the same path and bol up the same way. The SiR exhaust is just a bit bigger in diameter then the stock Si exhaust.
