significant power loss???

my old muffler had a major(2") hole in it so i replaced it today.

the old cat back was 2.25" piping, high flow cat, fireball style exhaust, the new setup is 2.25"/2"axle back, random 2.5 inlet muffler w/silencer, OEM cat(kms unknown).

after swaping these out it feels like i lost a good amount of power throughout the powerband.

the car is muuuuch more 'low-key'
is it really slower or am i a ricer @heart and just like the loud noises?

my only though is that the cat on this new setup has high kms and might be a tad clogged.

It's probably all in your head.

Loud noises make cars seem faster..

Stock motor?

Only thing I would say is you should probably be consistent on the piping throughout.

could be the cat.. when they go bad you get no power but you'll really notice it..

well you got 2 1/4 going to 2" then to 2.5".. it's not going to flow as well as your 2 1/4" setup

noticable power loss could indicate a clogged cat.
