yeh ur tranny will line up but youd be better off with the si tranny, has a better gear ratio. you can picl a d16a6 up for cheap 500 bucks or less

A sohc zc is a simple drop it and a simple DPFI to MPFI conversion. Do a search here on tcc or with google on the DPFI to MPFI conversion.

If your cheap/lazy you still can run the DPFI intake it wanted to.

Its not worth keeping it DPFI. If you want something decent for now you can pick up an Si motor(d16z6) for $500 from jdm engine land. Use your tranny for the time beeing until you get an si one. And ill even give you a good deal on a clutch and ecu that i have lying arround if you want. Your car will be half decent after that, it wont fall flat on its face. The only thing that will be holding you back is tranny.

hey sam, do the si swap man. if you need a hand doing the MPFI swap lemme know and i can pop out your way.

D16A6 go with. you can do a decent build up on that , thats still pretty quick and fun too drive.
