as far as i know it is....plug and play. your dx already has the wiring for the tach, so get a cluster and you should be set. i would double check, so wait for other replies.
you might have a problem if the 4 door is auto and the si cluster is manuel though.

Make sure you buy the right one...
There are lots of combinations...
The ones below are JDM clusters but you'll get the idea..
Look out for door indicators, SRS lights, and others...

I put a 1992 Si hatch cluster in my 1993 LX Sedan (both Manual), plug and play. It's actually kinda funny cuz the cluster's from a VTEC and my car cuts off before I even hit redline on the tach. The EX sedan cluster had a tach if you want the proper redline.
