Short shifters..

What is the difference between single bend short shifters and dual bend short shifters is there a big one? because I just got a single bend one for pretty cheap so I am not goign to complain but i wanted to know if its worth putting in

is the bend above the axis point??
if so, the only difference will be height and location of throw (height would also affect length of throw)..
single would probably be a taller shifter than the dual-bend and a longer throw front to back/side to side

I use a single bend B&M... all it does is affects the final resting location of your shift knob. some ppl like to sit really far back from the wheel or do the gangsta lean, so they prefer the shif****b further back so they can reach it from their lean back stance... that's who the dual bends were designed for.

I was told the single bend is for a civic and the dual "s" bend is for the integra.:shrugs:

I have the dual bend....I like it. And actually the dual bend, to me, seemed like it put the knob farther forward (towards the front of the car) which gave the knob more of a tilted forward feel.
