******** Short Shifters

Anyone have experience with these?
It would be going with ES shifter bushings.

imported_plzbeleiveit 26-Nov-2006 08:17 PM

b&m

imported_Zyepher 26-Nov-2006 08:27 PM

i had solo and now b&m i prefer the solo single bend...both are wicked though

Cynikal.Mindset 26-Nov-2006 09:02 PM

the forementioned ones would be fine, they are made of steel so they wont snap unlike cheaper ractive and such...but personally I liked the b&m just wish they made a single bend version

imported_plzbeleiveit 26-Nov-2006 09:05 PM

i have just the straight one

imported_honda1b6a 26-Nov-2006 10:16 PM

short shifters work great, quicker and more precise throws,,
Deff change the bushings that makes a big difference.

dont u find it to be in a slightly too aggresive driving position for everyday driving? its good for racing position where you're sitting straight up and close to the wheel but for normal day to day use I found I would have to reach for it too much

bbarbulo 26-Nov-2006 11:55 PM

maybe your arms are too short :D

Cynikal.Mindset 26-Nov-2006 11:59 PM

well perhaps...but I can wipe my ass fine....ahwell I dont think I'm gonna change the shifter in the new car

bbarbulo 27-Nov-2006 12:03 AM

lol matt. I like the B&M and I always sit in the 'racing' position. arms at 90 degrees... it's the best position for car control in all situations.

Cynikal.Mindset 27-Nov-2006 12:05 AM

this is true...but the "cool" factor isnt there hahaha...but I guess its not cool when you cant control your automobile...the b&m is crisp though and so solid too...maybe a dual bend in the new car

kwasley 27-Nov-2006 01:14 AM

wow folks, i didnt ask whats the best shortshifter or what short shifter do y'all have.
I know b&m shifters rock, but the bloody question is,how are the ***** tik short shifters and does anyone have extensive experience with one

Cynikal.Mindset 27-Nov-2006 01:58 AM

like I said...they seem decent since they are metal...but I would also goto honda and get the shifter rebuild kit while your at it since they dont come with new bushings like b&m does

imported_Zyepher 27-Nov-2006 09:00 AM

I miss my single bend :(

imported_SilverSleeper 27-Nov-2006 09:10 AM

I've never had a short shifter in my car.

Gallagher 27-Nov-2006 09:12 AM
