short shifter hitting my mid pipe

i got my exhaust pipe done and got my short shifter install and now i was driving in the highway i hear the shifter hitting my exhaust pipe?
wat do u guys think i should do?

bend the exhaust hangers down (on car) or up (on pipe) for more clearance
