Short shifter
Short Shifter, any suggestions?
Is it worth the money?
Which one would you guys recommend and why.
I'm, not looking for some crazy expensive JDM part. I want bang for buck, more on the function side then form.
But good look would be nice too!

I'm using a Solo one with Energy Suspension bushings. The shifter will probably cost anywhere from $80-$110, depending where you get it. As for the bushings, you're looking anywhere from $20-$30.
By the way. Is a short shift adapter any good? Does anyone have one?

Neuspeed and Skunk2 are probably what you're looking for. Solo is on the lower end, and C's is on the high end. I'll be installing my Skunk2 one next week, so if you want, you can check it out at one of the meets when I get the car back.

JDM or USDM I don't really care, it's quality I'm looking for.
I'm looking for the AEM of short shifters. Not crappy tire and on the other hand not Mugen.
How much money am I looking at spending?

What do you mean by adapter? The only SSA's are the ones for Accord's and Lude's. SS's for those cars don't use levers like the Civic/Teg.

i was thinking DC Sports, or maybe just because of the name is the reason behind it,
-> i had an after market one before on my old EF but i never took it off when i got into the accident. that one was fine, i wish i knew the manufactuer though.

DC ones are known to actually snap.

C's is a Japanese short shift company, and from what I've read online, they're like the first company to make a short shifter and apparently the companies that have followed, are all adaptations of their own version based off the C's shifter kit I'm not sure how legitimate that claim is, but C's is a very good SS company that's for sure

I've read that polyurethane bushings are more notchy (not exactly sure what that refers to in terms of the feel of the shift), while hard rubber bushings (Spoon & Mugen make them I know) feel more firm but less notchy (again I'm lost as to what this sensation feels like in a shift )
