what shocks and or springs would fit a 96-00 sedan (1.6EL) without additional work and parts

obviously 96-00 EK Civics would fit, but any other model
EG civics?
integra?

i've notice a lot of integra or EG springs/shocks posted in the for sale section, wondering if any other models other then 96-00 EK would fit.

Springs would fit, but not the shocks.

If you are talking about the whole adjustable coilovers, don't bother mix and match. The rear strut base are different between 5th and 6th gens. One is round, the other is fork.

springs from 1988-2000 are the same

shocks for the EK front are 92-00
shocks for the EK rear are 96-00, however, using some spacers you can put on 92-95 shocks.


94-01 integras are pretty much the same as 92-95 Civics so the same rules applt

the rounds ones you're thinking of nova are the 1988 Civic/CRX rear shocks and the 94-01 ITR rear shocks.

i just put some EK suspension on my EG the onle prob was that the rears had to be bent a little to fit over the bigger LCA

what you should have done is bought EK bushings and pressed them in.

but the other way around, EG susp on EK is no prob, just a couple of washers.

Remember that spring rates are most likely not the same. The springs / shocks may fit, but they were designed for a different car to begin with, so results may vary.
