if they are stock shocks on a drop, then they should have been replaced when you did the drop...
Try pushing down on a corner and see how many times it bounces... more than 1 or 2 then the shock is done, check for oil around the shock base... The ride will be harsh and bouncy also...more than it was before, seeing as it probably was bouncey and harsh if they were stock shocks...

i'm in that situation right now on the fronts... i think i'm just gonna put the stock springs up front and see how that works...
