if your car feels bouncy or wallows all over the road like a boat, its time for shocks

best bang for the buck would be KYB AGX.
Tokico's are ok but have been known to go prematurely.

I own Koni yellows and yes they are nice, but I dont ever hear anyone say anything about Bilstien. They're probably some of the nicest shocks that I have ever ridden in.

illumina's come with a lifetime warrenty so its just an inconvienence of taking them out... plus the agx's warrenty is void if lowered more then 1.5"

as an added bonus the illumina's have 5 settings but the agx has only 4...

bilsteins are way too expensive for what they are... I'd be looking at GAB in that price range. Good on VWs, not so good on Hondas... but even on VWs they are OEM supplier for VW, and most every VW product needs new shocks at about 60K kms. I know cuz we have one that needs shocks too - stock everything + blown shocks Replacements will prolly come in form of Bilstein TC or HD series.

One time I saw this old Corolla that has (I believe totally blown shocks) the bounciest ride I have ever seen. The car literally hups 10 inches off the ground when it goes through little humps and it keep on hupping for 4 to 5 times until the car settles down a bit. Then again, the next hump is just another 100 meters away so just before the first wave ends, the second one comes along shortly and the car just keeps on bouncing and bouncing and bouncing.....

BOING~~~ BOING~~~~ BOING~~~~~
