Shock upgrade

Well my car has over 200k on it now and the suspension is getting too sloppy I saw some Sir shocks for sale so i was wondering if this is a worthy upgrade and how will this affect the height if it does. The car is a 97 Cx and was gonna use my stock springs with them. Good idea or bad??

I don't think the actual shocks will affect any height...the springs might a tad...and type-r springs would lower it a bit.
