shock stiffness adjustment
I am going to install the koin yellow into my civic

Just play around with it. If your springs are stiffer in the front than the rear, then try dampening your shocks to suit.
KONI Yellows are one the best aftermarket shocks on the planet. You don't need to remove them to adjust the dampening. Note that they also have three perches to set them at, so you can choose from them to help achieve a desired ride height. Best thing to do is to just play around with the settings. Set it softest in the front ad hardest in the rear ad then switch it around to soft rear, hard front. Do this for quick 'spirited' lap of your neighbourhood and you should get a good feel as to how it affects your car's handling. Then, adjust accordingly until you find the sweet spot. |
