shock question.
i'm just wondering, i have neuspeed race springs... and i'm looking for shocks... now i know the koni yellows would be ideal performance wise.... but not so ideal for my wallet.... so would koni reds be good for those springs as well?? i mean other then the ease of adjustablity on the yellows what is the difference??
if you don't want the yellow's go with the reds $100/strut
or tryout the tokico blues, I think they are far superior then the reds
:tsk: no blue...
koni red :nods: |
i've been told koni reds are better the tociko though....
Ive ridden in both blue/red
and like the blues |

tokico whites vs reds
by difference i mean between koni yellows and reds?
tociko whites are the illunima's no??
yes I just got mine.
the reds are nice, but kinda feel spongy, nicole had them in the crx, colvin had those blues in same with B, in the blue integra.
slow down boys...
shocks are all good when they are new... it's how well built they are that matters. Blue are stock replacement more or less Red are budget performance (internally adjustable) White are so-so adjustables Yellow are top of the line (within budget) adjustables |
the only reason i think reds are best for cost right now is cause i haven't heard anyone say anything bad about them....
bbarbulo, you are just biased.
I would Take tokico over koni, but koni over agx. |
KYB<Tokico<Koni
ok, rick, either way of tokico or koni, they will still be a far superior strut than stock oe, which are like those gr2's kyb
you can get reds for about $100/strut you can get blues for about $120/strut you can get gr2 for about $120/strut you can get agx for about $150/strut you can get whites for about $175/strut you can get yellows for about $190/strut |
then into the badboys ie : tein
hey matt are those prices through nicoles friend?
i've heard to many people say koni reds are the best non adjustable shocks, i know they are adjustable but you gotta take them out to adjust.... kyb's can't be lowered for then 1.5" i'm told so they are all out.... |
i can get those prices for you too..
