hey guys I put in a short shifter yesterday
with new bushings
and now my shifter feels stiff as hell
when I had my old car it wasn't even close to how stiff this one is

also my shifter doesn't bonce back when I push it to the right but it does when I push it to the left

any ideas???

You tighten the bushing, that's all. Some people like it that way, some don't.

Loosen it a bit, and fine tone it to get the stiffness you like.

I installed mine a while ago (few weeks now) and I noticed it was VERY stiff. Over the last couple weeks though it has loosened up a little bit. Give it a little bit of time and see if it feels any looser, if not, like Nova says, get under there and loosen it a bit!

but what about the reason why it won't bounce back when I push it to the right side but it bounces back when I push it to the left side

like they say u tighten the bolt in the bushing to tight thats why it cant move properly

yea just losen up the bolt a little until its how you like your shifter to feel. very easy task!
