Shifter compatibilty question

Will a shifter from a 94-01 Integra work in a 96-00 Civic? I am looking for a new short shifter, but some manufacturers websites list the same, and some different part #'s for their shifters. I drove a friends Integra that has a dual bend shifter, and the shifter feels like it's a little closer, and shifts easier. He's selling the car, and offered me the shifter for cheap, or I could buy a brand new one. I can get Solo shifters from a friend for a good price, but they only make a dual bend one for Integras. Any thoughts?
Thx.Mike

I've seen type R shifters in Civics, and no I dont mean the **** Just the linkage is diff't for a b-series, but the shifter itself should be the same.

bbarbulo, I knew you would answer eventually. I checked on several websites, and DC, Skunk2, and B&M all list the same part #'s for Civic/Integra shifters. So, I guess the shifter itself is the same then.

I use a B&M (Edge I think....) and yes, it's for both Civic and Integra.

It's all personal preference. I know some shorter people like to use the dual bend shifter due to the fact that it puts the shifter closer to the driver. With the Civic shifter, you may have to reach a little farther forward when shifting.

yes they are compatible. I just sold a solo shifter, they can be used on all civics 88-00 or 94-01 integras so it should fit
