Serious Squeeking Noise Coming From The Front 2 Wheels
Hi,
I went to check out a car today and noticed that there's serious squeeking and grinding noises coming from the front 2 wheels. Only squeeks when I turn or tilt the steering wheel (in other words, only squeeks when the wheels turn). The owner said it's just a matter of lubrication. Is that correct? The car is lowered but I'm 100% the tires aren't rubbing anything. It seems like it's the joints making the noise. Anyone? |
squeeking usually indicates balljoints..
jack the car up.. and grab onto the wheel or rotor and shake it back and fourth.. as you are shake it/moving it check what components move. |
and if its balljoints wear out... better replace them, i had my balljoints failed... it was pain, coz my driveshaft pretty much got busted too.... i still remember that day... pretty embarass in the middle of the road and i didn't wanna cause traffic jam 4pm of a weekday....
