seized LCA - thinking Omni to replace

Got my car back from alignment and they said the rear LCA was seized solid even with heat and using the impacts...it wouldn't budge.

I'm guessing best way to fix this is Omni LCA which I can get for $115cdn from a friend in the US. Its seized, plus i know the bushings are well used with 193,000, what do you guys think? any other option that is cheaper.

I've read the reviews on here for OMNI, but how is the quality holding up on these, the camber kit and the coilovers have each had some issues.

i would go with SRR or Function 7 LCA's personally

but they're both more expensive

function 7 are nice, but they are $210usd shipped within us, where as Omni is $100usd shipped.

I do like the looks of those Function 7 end-links though, i'm trying to decide on Function 7 or ASR for end-links now to go with ASR brace...but thats a seperate issue.

SSR seem to be about $135-$145usd shipped. I'm really not interested in the bling, so i'm still thinking Omni.

I have Omni's that I bought from 'john lo' back in August. Working perfectly so far, no problems and the bushings are easily replaceable.

I've installed maybe 30-40 sets of Omni LCA's and have had no probs. I even put them on some of our larger HP cars and still, no probs. Some of my guys were skeptical about the bushings, we change them to urethane, that works great too. But if your gonna do that you have to play with them a little.

thanks for all the feedback guys, i've read that Omni had a few problems with their original coilovers until they strengthened the lower part and also their camber kits bushings coming out, but i've never read anything bad about their LCA and you guys just re-affirmed that too, so i'll be ordering soon but not installing until March. I get an alignment done when I lower the car in March, so i'll do these then.

I donno how the hell i'm going to get the old ones out, torch the bushings i'm guessing and break or grind the bolts. Its easy to do i know, but I have limited tools besides wrenches and sockets.

spindle, the subframe ones and suspension ones have been removed and anti-seize used so they are ok.

although the subframe LCA bushings are in rougher shape
