second gear problem?
yesterday after leaving my car in the cold snow for 2 days (it's usually underground) i started it up fine, but the first couple times i went to put it in to reverse and second gear, it would fight with me
first, third, fourth and fifth were ok
after the car completly warmed up, the problem went away
any ideas of what it could be?
thanks

In answer to the priginal question, in case someone actually read this post for real content, the reason that the car is hard to shift into the gears you referred to is most likely due to the fact that the 2nd gear synchro is wearing, and you are trying to get metal to move through cold oil (which thickens in the cold). No it's nothing to concern yourself with right now, but if down the road your 2nd gear synchro is bad, or a bad shifter fork, don't say you weren't warned.
