Seafoam problem HELP!!!!! PLEASE! (Humming noise from intake)
 

I just Seafoamed my motor (d16y8) 159,000km's 1996 Civic SI
stock motor. i also cleaned the throttle body. Now I am hearing a humming noise through my intake sounds like a vibration but NOT! Because i made sure the intake was tight, nothing looses, nothing touching against it, and even took my intake pipe off!!

The sound is coming fromt the throttle body at idle. After i seafoamed the motor i made sure vacuum line was tight and everything else. As soon as i started it up, i heard the noise, knowing my car as good as I do I know it's not normal at all. I did take the car for a long high speed highway drive hoping it would clear the noise, it didn't

Any help would be much appreciated guys thanks, Please Please Please somebody help me!!

i don't think feeding seafoam thru the vacuum line cleans the throttle body. i've never heard of this problem before? i don't see how the seafoam will reach the TB when the air is getting sucked in from there and go back into your intake manifold.

seafoam isnt for cleaning your tb..

but anyways.. does it sound like a rattling? I bet something is lose. Does it idle fine?

Are you sure its a humming or more like a sucking noise like the sound of sucking air through a straw.

Seafoam wasn't meant for throttle body, did you physically put it in via the throttle plate?
