how would you recommend using it B? Everybody has there own opinions, i wouldn't use the ****. Maybe to clean out my pcv system or something, but i'd be worried about it ruining seals.

it works and it is on sale almost indefinitely. i asked the parts guy and he said it was on sale for some rediculous amount of time but i cannot remember exactly how long. I know for sure it is on sale for a few months. I picked up 3 bottles last month at 8.99.

It definitely works if you use it as indicated on the bottle. Day and night differences for me, but don't expect to keep seeing the difference each time you use it because it becomes less and less noticable since it is doing its job.

I noticed a smoother idle, smoother climb of the rpms, smoother vtec engagement. Have a look under the valve cover before and after it's use and you will see a noticable difference.

it's really simple... it's a petroleum destilate that basically cleans sludge from your oil passages, cleans carbon from your combustion chambers, and cleans varnish from your fuel system.

everything you use in your engine is dino-based... petroleum... so it makes sense to clean petroleum byproducts with more petroleum.

i personally like the product cuz it doesn't make any outrageous claims like it'll improve gas mileage or make you pass emissions. it's just there to so ppl who know can use it.

it might not be the best idea on hondas.... it's a miracle worker for cars with poor design from the factory... cars with chronic sludging and carbon fouling problems.... such as Cadillacs, Intrepids, Saturns, etc. I've used this product on the Saturn several times and found it to work very well and it reduced oil consumption by clearing out the carbon built up on the oil control ring.

as for the article szuberi, it would have to show the engine stripped before using the stuff... then reassembled... and the stuff used... then stripped again in order to prove whether it works or not. dunno if that's ever been done.

i've used the stuff through a vacuum line, in the oil, and in the tank. all I know, when I put this stuff in the tank, for some reason... don't ask me why... I get an extra 100 kms out of a tank of gas. i've recorded the best fuel mileage in my daily driver with this stuff in the tank, a record 4.94 liters per 100 kms which is about 48 miles per gallon!!!!

I used sea foam for the first time today on my winter beater today and am impressed with how much smoother my engine runs. Your car smokes like a bastard for 10 minutes os so but that it.

You should probably do an oil change right after using it to get all the crap out that is now in your oil.

I have used it a couple times and sort of forgot to use it last year. I couldn't really tell any major improvements, but I suppose it ran better for a period of time.

^^'suppose' is key

i just wanna use this now for the sake of it...haha. the other day i was at WM getting the oil changed ($12 labor with you supply your own parts) and they offered me a promotional/free product that was a sludge cleaner.....claimed to clean all sludge from the oil pan, inside of the engine and what not......afterwards i 'felt' it ran smooth...but in reality....who knows.

Quite often when you change something on your car to increase performance, it can be psycological....it supposed to make more power, it sounds more powerful therefore your mind thinks it feels the extra power....even if it's only 1 or 2 extra ponies.

it doesn't change the hard facts, like getting better fuel mileage, and burning less oil.
