Scratching sound??? Help!??

My 93 si hatch is making a weird scratching sound coming from the driver side rear wheel. The brakes are ok i think, I cant see anything hanging or anything scraping against the wheel/rim

Any ideas?

You have to be more discriptive of the sound. Are you sure its coming from the rear? I usualy have a problem with my dust covers on my disc breaks tend to rub against the rotors if its touching just push it back with some force.. not too much though.

Its definaly coming from the rear wheel, It comes and goes.

Its not like its grinding hardcore, but a little scraping noise.

does iti only happen when there is suspension movement? if so, more than likely just the top hats of your shocks... there is a rubber seat in there and when it wears you will hear scraping which is the top of your spring scraping off the top hat... just a suggestion... usually all it is... you just have to logically think what parts move around there...
