s4c lsd- clutch type?
milion dollar question?
Trany- s4c with lsd- from a civic type r what clutch and flywheel do i need if I want to go honda parts parkway cant figure it out- they dont have transmition numbers they only have model numbers. Would a 97 del sol VTEC do the job. will the lsd make a difference on the clutch or the flywheel? |
dont think LSD would make a difference with the clutch and flywheel choice. If it was me id get an exedy clutch but if ur going oem honda then GSR or ITR clutch with a B series flywheel.
|
remove the clutch and inspect it yourself, comparing to the integra and del sol units.
|
alright - well how does an clutch master stage one perform on a stock motor.
Do you think I am going to be fine with that After I remove the tranny tonight I will see what type of condition is the flywheel - i might just machine it and leave it for now |
well how much power do u plan on running? I have a clutchmasters stage 3 right now in planning for turbo and its not too hard on the legs but it grabs super hard:). Stage 1 would be fine if ur gonna leave ur B16b N/A:).
As for the flywheel i would talk to Steve at Concepts on wheels and pick up a lightened, balanced and resurfaced flywheel from him. |
im just going to run the motor- I would like to get about 225 at the flywheel one day and that is it- im not putting nos or turbo on it.
I will talk to steve tomorrow. Thanks |
yeah dont forget to mention ur a paid member;). As for the clutch, consider a stage 2 clutchmasters because its a kevlar clutch and will last pretty much forever. When the disc gets worn u just sand blast it and its as good as new:D.
PM Astroboy for pricing on the clutchmasters stuff, thats who i got mine from:) |
