rubbing noises, fender liner clips?

So i lowered my front end about 1cm or so more on the weekend, haven't had any problems other than the occasional rubbing noises when i hit big bumps, or cornering and hitting a bump at the same time... i'm thinking these are the fender liner clips cuz after looking at the wheel/wheel well there are no marks anywhere, only think is that the fender liner clips are starting to get torn up..

on my drivers side the top one has already fallen out and the only one that's left is the one closer to the headlight, on the passenger side they're all in..

i've heard of people saying they remove the clips to clear those few extra mm... can i remove both? or will the liner sag forcing me to raise the car up a bit...

i love the new stance, so i really don't want to raise it anymore...

you're gonna rub either way, unless you raise your car ... what size are your rims?

the clips will make the rubbing go away, i'm just curious to see if i can take them out or not... i don't plan on raising my car to be honest, cuz it's really not that bad at all, i'm just a perfectionist...

well your liner will hang down unless you fasten it by some other means

don't remove the liner completely. it's there for a reason (ie to protect your alternator from water spray in the rain.)

I removed the top clip on mine and never put it back. the liner has never sagged not even a lil bit. but I'm only missing that one clip, and no others.
