Rubbing 17" in rear with 1.5 drop

I got a problem here..... I've lowered my car in the past 2 weeks i dropped the car 1.7 in the back and 1.5 in front with lowering springs. Now the problem here is that i've had the car on 16" TSW rims and it was fine but as soon as I put on my 17" the back tends to scrape a little when I hit a tight turn. What do I do? Do I need the chamber correction kit? I heard that I can correct the problem with some washers does anyone know about this method?

How can you rub with only a 1.5 inch drop? I have a 2.25-2.5" in the rear and it doest rub at all...I have 205/40/17. What size tires do you have?

My rims came with these little red wheels that fir into the inner part of the rim. I installed them thinking it was required because they were in the package could it be because of that?

roling the fender is were the flat lip on the inner fender is roled upward most car places wil do it but its not guaranteed 2 not **** up the paint thats the only bad thing its like 30$ a fender at most

i tried the baseball bat thing it worked ok

i fould the best way 2 do it was get a friend in the car and u shive the bat at a 45% angle in2 the gap between the wheel and fender and then shove the bat towards the center of your rim and then tel the guy 2 roll the car slowly then the bat wil roll and slowly bent the lip upwards making the gap bigger

i just cut mine off with a grinder and welded them back together afterwards but with my tires i have a wierd offset rims wern't made 2 fit a civic some german car

yeah but your best bet is either change your wheels, or roll the fender edge.. .

is it rubbing only when u go fast through the turn or it is rubbing in tight turns like in a parking lot?

if it is the first, i suggest just taking it easier and the occasional rubbing shouldnt be too much of a prob.

15's are way too small. why spend money on rims that are the same size as stock? bup. at least get 16s.

First thing would be to find out where it is rubbing. And then hit yourself in the head with the baseball bat instead of damaging your car with it.

Do you have a system in the car? Because that can easily turn your 1.5" advertised drop into over 2".
