rpm drops below 1000x

hey guyz i have a problem wit my 99 sir. sometimes the rpm dropz below 1000x rpm when i drive in 1st gear in traffic. it feels as if is going to stall . it drops below 1000xrpm and then comes back up. it only does it once in a while but it is really bothering me. could it be the ignition wires ,? i never changed those for a while i have changed the spark plugs and the rotor. recently......... help plz

Are you feeding in enough throttle when you launch, or is it when you are cruising at a constant speed in 1st? May be your clutch is slipping.

you say you changed the rotor, but nothing about the cap.... it could be the cap.

yea i feed it enought throttle when i launch. it only happens when i give it throttle to give the car momentum to move in traffic, and i put the clutch back down, the rpm drops a little under 1000 and the car vibrates. .......then it goes back up. .....

Yeah, leaning to the ignition area.

I'd suggest cleaning the throttle body.
Sometimes the carbon n stuff in the bore won't allow the small amount of air to bypass the plate.
