i changed my rear rotors last summer, went with power slot rotors. slotted.

apparently x-drilled ones are bad news in the winter because snow/ice gets in the holes and they rust out, not to mention the snow/ice expands/contracts with the temperature and can crack your rotors.

the slotted ones i got look great - they have an anti-rust coating on them, matched with hawk hps pads. i can't wait for my front rotors to bite the dust!

i'm real happy so far.

if you want the x-drilled look, powerslot makes a pro stop rotor that's dimpled... check'em out.

my 2 c

i believe powerslot or one of the other smaller rotor companies now does all the AEM braking equipment. powerslots with AEM pads all around is a really good setup, my buddy put them on his gsr and was really happy with them.

pm astroboy, thats where my buddy got them from.

I have brembo blanks, they warped after 2 months of regular driving. I may be a unique case, but how the hell can they warp so fast?. Anyone know where i can get them machined for cheap?

I'm definitely gonna pick up a set of stock rotors (i stupidly threw out my old ones thinking these were better)

Stopping power is better though (that's a plus i guess)

the rotor has no effect on braking is the pad and it's material so get some ct/brembo blank premium rotor's with a good set of aftermarket pads. Drilled rotor's are for posers'

I have inroble cross drilled and slotted rotors, cost me $45bucks a piece and I mated them up to some PBR ULX Ceramic pads...this combo sure beat tha snot out of the previous wagner thermoquiet and normal rotors and what I paid for my set up you couldnt get a normal stock replacement setup for

this brings up to my attention.
my rear rotors are kind of rusty and the pads have about 5% left.
i got the front one brand new used about 2 months. do i really need to change the rear set? how much longer i can hold on to that?

brembo cross drilled rotors and brake pads are amazing, i had 'em on my old 240sx. Try getting those. THey're not that much more than the AEM.

ct blanks and monroe pads here....slot's and drills are for girly men...for the original poster jsut look into getting full gsr brakes with blanks and what ever pad you want, and it's the pad material that makes your brakes "stop better".

I picked up my OEM pads from Parkway today.

I'm probably just going to go with the Munroe or Eurorotors from C-T. The OEM rotors are alot more money, but I can't really seem them being that much better then C-T rotors for a daily driver. We'll see how they work out.

I really don't see the benefit of using cross drilled and/or slotted rotors on a daily driver.
