goddammit, im in the middle of changing my plugs/wires/distributor cap and rotor, and the setscrew on the rotor is ceased, and now slightly striped,
anyone have any suggestions on how to get this rotor off?

since you have a new rotor... just hack the plastic apart and there should be a metal thing still there but you should be able to get a vice grip around the set screw... although you'll need a new one... i can't remember if my kit came with that screw or not

I've used one of those screw extractors. They work but you have to make sure you use the right size for the right screw. You have to drill a hole in the screw head a little smaller diameter than the extractor and then use that extractor in reverse mode on a cordless drill.
