Question Rims

What about rims, is there anything I should look for in particular?
My friend told me, whatever you want, make sure the rims are tough!

I was thinking of ADR GT Sport rims.
What about Spoon Rims or Buddy Club?

Any suggestions?

How much money do you have to spend on rims?

ADR are tough rims...I've never tested this rumour on my own rims, but I know there is a 2G talon that runs ARD rims in rally, and when he wiped out big time, the only thing not bent on his car were the rims.

Budget is important...

Genuine Spoon rims aren't the cheapest in the world..

But if your rich buy me a set too...

Make sure your rims are light...

If you want tough buy steelies...

There are wayyyyy too many options. Give us some more info:

- what is important to you? (ie. weight, bling bling, strength, etc.)
- street? street/track? track?
- style? (mesh, 5-spoke, 10-spoke, etc.)

if you're looking for 1500 with tires your either looking at a cheaper rim with good tires, or a little better rim with cheaper tires, if you're looking at just 1500 for rims, you're looking at fairly pricy rims, and then don't forget that you have to buy tires so as a package deal you'd have to add in maybe 600+ to get tires, go to a tire place to get some good tires you're lookin at 1000 approx.....

damn link doesen't work...anyway on one of the sites there was a guy selling a set of 17" mr7's powdercoated in whit iwth low pro tires, can't remember who makes them with 60% tread, he was only selling them for $950 and the rims are beautiful. I believe they were being sold on torontostreetracing.com or on this site, one of the 2 anyway. Great deal for sweet rims.
