right fit??!?!

I have a guy that is selling me H & r sport springs that are coming out of his integra. I want to put it in my 98 civic. He says it will fit no problem. Is this true? Also lowering my car 1.5 and 1.75" will I need camber kit and shocks other then the stock ones? I would appreciate any input.

Get eh part numbers and cross reference them with the ones on the H&R Website.

You don't NEED a camber kit, but you will most likely want one for the rear. Front camber is not as bad on EK's.

Civic and Integra springs all fit the same. The Teg springs are just a little stiffer.

I am lowered on H&R Sports (1.75F, 1.5R) and I noticed some camber wear in the front. The rears were OK. I bought a camber kit to fix the problem and some Koni's to smooth out the ride.

That's wierd. I found the camber in the rear was wice as bad as the front. The wear on the tires wasn't really there on the front, but the rears had a tiny bit after 3 or 4 months. Kumho 712 btw....Did you get an alignment done after you installed?

Ferio Vi-RS 11-Apr-2005 02:35 PM

Yeah, I had an alignment done after camber kit install. I did have slight camber wear in the rear (barely noticeable), but more visible in the front (Kuhmo 711)... maybe cuz I only rotated the tires once during the summer? Just a matter of days before the Koni's go on.

I hear Kumho 711 are softer than the 712, maybe that has something to do with it. Who knows...

I wish I had Koni's.

I know the springs will fit on my car if it came out of the newer gen integras but i found out the springs are actually coming out of a 92 integra and i heard that the springs coming out of the DAs wont fit the civic......is this true?

i got integra springs on my EL...the integra springs are slightly stiffer vs. the civic springs.
