sounds like a vacuum problem. hook up a vacuum gauge and check your readings. proceed from there.

im having the same problem as you speak of, but with my DOHC ZC
when i step on the brakes it causes the idle to drop low, then bounce back up, i tried a custom chipped ECU, and got rid of a code, and it stopped, but going back to stock it continues to do the same thing. check for codes, i bet we have the same problem, and the 9lb flywheel makes it just enough for it too stall! |
Could it be the ECU??
Could it be the ecu? I think my ECU is from a 87/88 acura integra can that be the problem???

Poor Rexy
do you think i can higher the idle?
|
did you guys ever end up solving this? Having a similar issue I would like to get fixed. I aswell have a lightened flywheel but only 12lbs
|
when decelerating and the idle drops, alternator is usually the culprit. a little idle drop is fine, but not too much and in your case it causes u to stall. Id suggest having your electrical system checked.
