my engines been giving me issues latly... recently it was bogging and sputtering under load in low rpm's when it never use to...

it was suggested that I use Sea Foam... Well that did the trick..engine ran fine again..

now a couple of days later i'm having another problem... The engine is idling rough.. and low, to the point where the engine is shaking the whole car... also if I hold the rpm's up at like 2 or 3 you can still feel it jerkin and hear it sputtering and the exhaust is popping

it almost sounds like one of the pistons isn't firing completly... i have 137 K on it, with year old plugs and orignal wires and distributer... i opened the distributer and it appears clean, good contacts still.. probably could use some new wires, I also have a new set of plugs to put in

but i mean if this doesn't fix it... what am i lookin at here ?

where that clip compared to before would have no bubbling sounds and just smooth steady rev'ing

How does both the Ignition Rotor and contact in the center of the Distributor look?

theres some buildup on the contacts in the cap, a bit of dirt on the rotor contact...everything looks clean
