I might get those type r things that nautica_t has, they look pretty good. Yo how did you take that pic going 110KM/H, you must be a very talented driver

silvercrxsi- you should get the blue bulbs to go with your blue film, they are the same bulbs as the ones on your corners, I think you need 4 of them I got them at pac mall for $4 a pair. Is it possible to leave the film out without causing any harm.

silvercrxsi -> oh i know what you talking about now, that top piece right right. yeah i removed that crap..hee i figured it be too much of a hassle to find something to replace it and than get bulbs. so i just decided to get the bulbs and have that thing removed. only bulbs that i left in was the signals, high-beam, and the egine lights and crap like that. and when they light up, its still pretty bright. except for my signals and high-beam light, they are kinda covered up b-cuz of the lights. imo it might a little harder to do what i did, because i wanted to make it look clean and have no wires exposed and b-cuz i was too lazy to cut the wires as well.

My Blue Si -> the speedo lies!! i don't speed. yeah not bad pic huh... i'll show you on my laptop, i have like 7 shots of it. hehe. everytime i took one, it shook at the end. but yeah, if you do get them let me know, i'll go with u or something, they have them at Pac mall, and if you need help installing or want to know how i did i'll tell you as well.

hey alex, i'm not quite sure, never cracked open a 6 gen cluster, i guess you have to crack it open and take a look see for yourself
-> as for the light bulbs, here they are. this is the first shot i took, forgot to take off the flash the first time and it revealed it without the bluish, so here are the lightbulbs, although i should've got the black shell casing for the type r bulbs, but they were more expensive at another store, so i got these instead.

there ya go guyz...

My Blue Si: you mean the mini bulbs that go up top? Or the ones that go behind the gauges?

oh i see what you did now,
you mounted them inside the cluster eh? and just took out the normal bulbs? i thought you just changed the bulbs inside the cluster to make the numbers light up like that..... are those lights visible? like can you see them mounted when you're looking at the cluster normally?

do you mean at night alex?? if you do? yeah clear as a whistle, but downfall, what is red, is not as visible, you can see it, but somewhat rather difficult espically since my redline is 6700.
but at night, yeap very very clear, its much easier to see when your in person.
if you mean the lights, yeah they are clearly visible, they drop down about an inch or so, but its not that bad looking in the day.
nobody will really nottice until at night, i have people come and go during the day, when car poolign and they don't nottice until at night, but it is visible.

silvercrxsi-I mean the actual ones that go behind the cluster to light up the numbers at night, there's 4 of them. The mini bulbs are impossible to buy b/c I need a set for my climate control and I wen't all over the city looking for them and no one stocks those kind of bulbs, not even CT and Honda, so im guessing it would be simply impossible to get colored ones. Did you take out the film from the top or the back of the cluster? I may be getting confussed now
nautica_t- nice pic, thanx man i'll let you know about purchasing those type r bulbs
p.s. you need gas

my blue si, i believe he is refferring to that top film peice above the cluster, the film causes our needles to turn amber. and he has replaced the amber film with a blue film. i believe that's what he is referring to, i had that thing removed to place my type r bulbs.

oh and by the way, i did fill up on gas!!! it was **.9 at Sunoco and i filled up the tank with Ultra 94!!
heehe

ohhhhhh okay now I understand what you did, that's a pretty good idea too.
What I thought he was talking about was this green film here...

What I tried to do was replace these bulbs...
and install these blue ones....

..but it didn't work, probably because of the film, do you think if I remove the film and re-intall the bulbs the numbers will light up blue

Ya i meant the blue film up top.
Well was amber before I changed it.
I'm too scared to take out my gauge cluster.

BTW shouldn't this be in the interior section? lol

Woah so much trouble for you 4th gen guys. I just popped my gauges out and painted them. They've been blue and amber, sticking with amber

on th following site: www.tommotorsport.com.I

On the site I came across this pic? Can you tell what is wrong with these guages? No nothing will pop out at you i promise!

yes thats right the km/h numbers are blue and the mp/h are grey (smaller inside) now look at the text below the odometer space
