Replica CTR Rear Strut Tower Bar

Hi All,

I was browsing on Ebay and saw this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2428684813

Can anyone tell me if this strut bar is actually functional? Is it a good bar? I like it because it doesn't allow rotation at the mounting points, like most strut bars do.

It seems like a good deal, even factoring in the exchange rate and shipping.

it looks a bit questionable cause it doesn't have holes where it bolts to the strut tower.... but just those slots....

Yah...
that's what I was thinking...
and the mounting brackets look really flimsy... that's why I'm wondering if anyone has ever bought them...

does yours have "pivots" need the mounting brackets, or is it a totally rigid bar?

it has pivots... but you can tighten them... i had the bar in a vice grabbing one of the mounting brackets and you cant bend it by pulling or prying so i'm happy with it

sounds good!

may I inquire as to where you bought your rear strut tower bar?

does it make any difference?
can you feel it during daily driving?

That bar is functional, at least as much as most strut bars go. I had the actual JDM OEM ITR rear upper strut bar (same as that one, but not a replica) on my old EL. I did feel a difference with it on when taking hard corners. If anything, I think that bar would be a little better than alot of the generic bars out there since it does not have flexible mounting points, much like the ITR front upper strut tower bar.
