i remember seeing tons of pages about this a while ago... well out of pure boredom today i took mine out of a 93 si hatch.... and man the 0.5 hp i probably gained from it is so not worth the exsessive arm strength needed to turn the wheel, even while moving....

i still have all the hardware so i think its going back on tomorrow..

yes it really is your friend.... its only really when you aren't moving its a big problem.... when your actually going its not to bad.... i wonder how much power was actually gained for all this though

I love not having power steering, took a week to get to used to and never looked back.

I was planning to install the belt again for autocross, but i decided against it...

love it.

its more of a 5 whp gain...

wtf power steering is for wimps for sure.
u dont need it, and plus, road feel without it is so much better.
i drive without ps on 205 wide r compound okay...and i'm not complaining.
