regular air filter v.s short ram filter
 
do these both have the same lifespan? i remmber before i had my intake i would replace the air filter more often thatn now when i have my cone filter.. are there better filters out there that will let me keep them longer ? the short ram thwooommp is starting to get annoying , especially if im going back to stock

k&n filters are washable and come with a 1,000,000 mile warranty. Its all i will use or recommend. They're totally worth the few extra bucks IMO.

arent the k&n bad for your engine??? as in letting in more dirt particles. I remember reading an article on this sumwhere

A test with numbers showing k/n gauze filters letting in a great deal of dirt (compared to the regular paper filters)
