REBUILD for d16z6
#2
b/c the d16z6 is of an open deck design you can't bore it much more than .5mm over, otherwise the sleeves would be too thin.
The only way to increase displacement is with a stroker kit or aftermarket sleeves but both of these cost big bank. I don't think that you would be able to obtain 2L of displacement even after stroking or sleeving a 1.6L. I know in order to make a b18 a 2L you need to sleeve it to 84.5mm (stock is 81mm). And if you sleeved a b16 with 84.5mm sleeves that would only give you 1.8L.
Honestly, i am not even sure if there is a stroker kit for the d-series'....and if there is it prolly doesn't yeild 2L of displacement.
